I look at your situation a little differently - yes there are both guilty and innocent folks that have been exiled, there are guilty and innocent folks playing on this side as well. If anyone can enlighten me on the above (maybe an EA community manager can shed some light, if they feel like it), that would be really helpful. Although I do try and avoid the 'too good to be true' players. When I appear to be 'not guilty' (guilty until proven innocent.) what will happen to my city? Will it be restored in the status it had when I was banned? Or does playing on make sense (collecting taxes, trying to move a level up in the CoM)? Of course, playing on on the cheat server is almost by definition trading with cheaters. I would be interested to read EA's opinions on this. My suggestion to EA would be to at least reduce a false accuser's credibility (and ultimately banning the false accuser for cheating!). On the other hand, they should increase the credibility of someone who has correctly identified cheaters. I wonder if a false accusation will backfire to the accuser? Without any consequence, it is fairly easy to accuse a person. It should not be that complicated to sent an (automated) update per email informing the requester on progress or estimated date of completion. In my opinion, EA should be way more transparent to they players with regard to the status/progress of a support ticket. PinnacleValley, thanks for your reaction. Sit tight, be patient, log in every now and then to check! If you are not a cheater, EA will revert your exile. That might help others who end up in the same situation. The sword of Damocles?Ĭonclusion: problem solved in about one week without any communication from EA besides the confirmation mail when submitting the ticket. If I had not started playing again last evening I would not have been aware of the change, since there has been no email (yet) from EA notifying me of the outcome of their investigation. And there is still that awkward feeling that if I start playing full throttle again, another exile might happen all of a sudden. Happy to be back, and really glad to be able to play with my team again, but still somewhat unsatisfied with EA's total lack of communication. So, all in all it took EA about a week to investigate and revert my exile to the cheat server. Yesterday, when starting up the game again, all of a sudden I found myself back on the 'normal' server! I was able to find my club again and reconnected with them.
